We work very hard to provide the best service possible, for you, at VAMT. The following acupuncture policies have been put in place in respect for this effort. You will find an abbreviated version of these policies, below. You may find the full version in our New Patient paperwork, page 3.


Payment is due, in-full, at time of service.

Cancellation Policies

We require a minimum of a 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This is waved in cases of illness, emergency or inclement weather. Cancellations without 24-hour notice and “no-shows” will result in a charge of 50% of the service price for your session, as that time has been set aside specifically for you. You will be required to pay this charge before you are allowed to schedule your next service.

You will be required to pre-pay for all services at VAMT after two appointments cancelled within a 24-hour time period or two no-shows. This also applies to Motor Vehicle or Workman’s Comp patients.

Late Arrival Policies

Your 60-minute appointment will be shortened according to your late arrival time as a courtesy to our others guests and staff. If you arrive late, you are required to pay full price for the scheduled 60-minute appointment. Late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. These acupuncture policies were adopted to ensure that the therapists time, the clinic and its efforts be respected. We also want to respect your time and maintain your service be stress-free and relaxing.
